Lembongan Island is a small island located in the south of Bali. Nusa Lembongan is a part of Klungkung Regency. Fast becoming one of Bali's most popular attractions this island paradise is a world away from the polution, hassles and hectic pace of Bali. There are no hawkers, no traffic, and magnificent scenery and is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax.

Lembongan Island is a nice place to walk, with coastal paths linking nearly all the guest houses, hotels and restaurants. Most walks will take less than two hours. You can cross by foot to the small neighbouring island of Nusa Ceningan via a scenic suspension bridge.

About a population of approx 5000 people living in two villages, Lembongan Village and Jungut Batu Village. Lembongan village is 615 ha in area, consisting of 85% unproductive rocky land. The main income for the population is derived from seaweed farming.
